Hard to make up my mind on these things. Its like I dont really love em but I didnt pay much for them so I cant complain.
Pros - Comfortable, decent sound for the price, flashy lights...,
Cons - No mic mute button, mic to far from mouth, flashy lights..., vibration thing is pretty lame but can be turned off, small static sound issue.
Overall I wish I woulda bought some other head phones.

Prologue:
I was looking for a headset that would satisfy my gaming needs, as well as general audio needs. I saw another product by edimensional that included 7.1 surround sound, on sale for $40 dollars, I believe. The force feedback instantly interested me, and the 7.1 artificial surround sound was a plus. However, many reviewers were complaining about the durability of the headset. I like my things to last, and at the failure rate of those headsets, it was either a hit or miss. However, I really liked the idea of the force feedback enhancing bass-oriented sounds. I looked elsewhere and, fortunately, found these, also by edimensional.
Fit:
The headset is fairly big. The actual piece that rest on the ears are big enough to cover the whole ear, but not big enough to be placed within the perimeters, as a result, noise cancellation isn't that great. The texture, however, is nice and soft, allowing a conformable experience. The headset isn't as heavy as you would assume just by looking at it. At first, I found myself slightly bending my head down, but I got used to it. It doesn't leave neck strain so that is definitely a plus. The height of the ear pieces are adjustable (about 8 inches down), allowing adjust ability to any head size.
Performance:
These headsets perform great compared to the price. They can get real loud, although I don't recommend it. Force feedback is definitely nice and it is not a cheap gimmick slapped on the last second. It adds realism to the game and makes you feel like you are actually a part of it. Bass is okay by itself, but with force feedback on, it makes it gives it more depth. There is a volume and rumble controller on the headset, both separately adjustable.
When the rumble is on, there is a small eerie buzz sound in the background, but is easily ignored once sound is playing through. The microphone is bendable and can be positioned at your liking. It offers nice sound quality, and I don't need to shout in order for others to hear me.
Overall, this is a great product that offers a lot for a much cheaper price than high-end headphones. Sound quality. The bass is good and the force feedback is definitely something that should be experienced. These seem more durable than edimensionals 7.1 surround sound headset so they should last a long time. I am fully satisfied and I would recommend this to anyone wanting an affordable, yet superb headset for general needs such as: gaming, listening to music, or voice chatting.

These phones are nice and comfortable, and don't sound real bad for gaming, but they certainly do not compare with Audio Technica or any other dedicated music headphones. Very bass-heavy sound, and while good for gaming, misses high frequencies in music.
But not a big deal! That's why I have the ATs. :)
Picks up a lot of line noise when the vibrate feature is turned on, but it does add a nice effect when gaming and shooting stuff. Would have liked a mute button in-line, but that's a small consideration.
Bought a refurb set for $19.99, but it appeared that they had run out of refurbs or something and shipped me a factory-sealed new set. Works nicely.
(I see one set listed new for $129.99. If you pay that, you ARE getting RIPPED OFF. This is a $40 gaming headset, nothing more.)

I don't have too much experience with other headsets as this was my first set. I absolutely love them. They are comfortable to wear and sound great. I wasn't that impressed with the vibration effect and mostly leave it turned off, but I think that's more just cause I'm not into it.

My sons bought this headset for me for Christmas. Too bad the headset was dead on arrival. Never got a chance to experience the USB powered force feedback.
