When I received my package from Amazon.com I expected to be up all night installing and calibrating my new joy stick. Not so! The T-Flight Stick X truly is a plug and play device. There is no software and my computer instantly recognized my T-Flight Stick X. All of my PC games recognized my new Thrustmaster joy stick also.



The T-Flight Stick X looks good and feels good. Calibration is a cinch. Construction is top notch. In the past I've paid a lot more for a joy stick and received much less. Thrustmaster definitely has a winner here.

I have had considerable difficulty trying to use this. I'll keep at it but doubt that I will master it. It isn't anything like flying a real J3 Cub. If I had it to do again, I wouldn't. I read a review where the f/s was recommended, but I am all over the place and mostly inverted in B/S wwII squadrons.

Great choice for a joystick! Works with computer games (PC) as well as PS3. If the standard button mapping doesn't work for you, it is easy to change and re-map with this joystick. Now I can compete with my son on PS3 shooter games, since I was raised on a proper joystick, not the regular PS controllers! lol.

When using this Thrustmaster product w/ Flightsim one immediately discovers that the throttle and joystick are not fine precision instruments. The lack of precise control takes away from enjoying the game. To bad. It looks good.Just doesn't perform to my expectations.

This flight stick was exactly what I was looking for and a a fantastic price! Other sites had is for as much at $60.00, I paid $21.00 with shipping! Arrived on time and brand new. Easy to install on PS3 and works great. you can even switch between controllers in game so if you are using the standard controller for walking and then need to fly you simply grab the stick and start flying.

The controller is amazing, works great & helps a lot with flight games (IL-2, Hawx ECT). I do have to switch it to controller 1 every time it seems I start a game (very minor thing). Also after a couple months of using this controller it seems after an hour or two of use it starts acting weird - game randomly stops recognizing controller until I unplug it & plug it back in a few times, or game will start reading movements that were not made on the controller, now this being said it has happened mainly on IL-2, sometimes in Hawx, so I cannot be sure this is the controllers fault, it may have something to do with the PS3 or games, also it could just be the one defective controller but I did think it was worth mentioning.

I had this joystick for a couple of weeks now.

It has all the main functions you want from a good joystick and it feels solid in the hands. For the price you pay (in the $20-$30 range), I think it's exactly what you expect to get: a sound joystick with a good, confortable and smooth throttle. I'm really happy with it and I recommend it to people who are not "game-freak" looking for something fancier or more hard core.

The Thrustmaster T Flight Hotas X gives the user exacting control over every type of aircraft. I used to be a real pilot but because of medical problems I can never fly again because the pressure changes of altitude will kill me. The Thrustmaster T Flight Hotas X, attached to my newest computer with an Athlon II X2 235e 2.7GHz Processor and 6GB Ram has given me back the ability to fly the aircraft I used to plus many others I always wanted to try. Coupled with the new Microsoft Flight Simulator X: Gold Edition which I purchased through Amazon.com when I bought The Thrustmaster T Flight Hotas X allows me to get back in the air with such reality that sometimes I forget I am sitting at a computer in my office.



Thrustmaster T Flight Hotas X comes separated, the Throttle Assembly and rudder and flap controls on the left and the Joystick with fire control (if flying games for combat) the trigger acts as the main brakes for civilian aircraft.
