Just thought I'd mention that the software on Belkin's site (v3.2.4) is compatible with Windows 7 x64.
This thing (which I consider to be a keyboard replacement) is indispensable in Counter Strike Source. The amazing software allows you to create and customize macros, so I can buy everything at the beginning of round in under 1 second. Or I can type "bet ct all" by pressing only one button. It's extremely easy to customize macros, especially the timing between key presses. There is also a shift functionality, so you can quadruple all the controls if you want. Personally I barely use one of the shift modes, but it's good to know that I have the option (it should actually be handy for WoW players). I have heard that the new edition (n52te) has horrible software issues, especially on the macros front. Which means that if I ever need to replace this I'll stick with the old edition.
Not only is it functional, but it's also very comfortable. Keeping my hand on the WASD keys of the N52 as opposed to a plain keyboard, allows me to play a lot longer without any pain or discomfort.
The spacebar key is too far away though, so I programmed its functionality to one of the D-Pad keys. That's the only disadvantage that I can think of.

Its been on my desk used for all sorts of stuff...

Great Product. I have owned 2 others before this one I bought. Too bad the seller never sent it to me. All I got was a copy of Crazy taxi for the PS2. bought it on 9/11 and today is 10/13.

So far has worked out great for World of Warcraft, I had decided to get it for that and then further use it for FPS games and maybe RTS games also. It seemed to work right out of the box, but there were a couple of issues with profiles; mostly not being able to set them and get them to load, but after a little searching found the newer drivers for 64bit and vista (but they worked on my windows 7 machine) on Belkin's support page. So far the only issue I have with the controller is the wheel is hard to scroll up and down, and usually takes me shifting my hand so that I can carefully scroll and not click down on the button, but I find the scroll wheel on the mouse is much better suited for those actions and just use it as an extra button to press. Because you can bind any key press or combination to the buttons you could use it for some sort of development that requires several hotkeys or drawing I suppose but it seems very easy to use it for just about anything that requires 15 or so keys. Nice product overall.

This gamepad has the best key layout of any PC gamepad I've tried so far. If the mouse wheel were replaced with another button, it would be perfect. The software to set it up is pretty decent too (For the non-TE version only).
The problem is that it's only going to last you 3-4 months of regular usage tops. The spacebar/shift button will probably be the first to go. It'll start squeeking, then bind up in crucial moments. The D-pad will be next... But the rest of the keys will all start squeeking soon enough.
After mine wore out, I tried the TE version. Unfortunately, while the main array of keys is higher quality, the D-pad and spacebar are the same. To make matters worse, the TE software is an abomination.
It is worthy of three stars, simply because of it's fantastic layout, but if you're going to get one, get the non-TE, and plan on replacing it regularly.
