I really enjoy the Logitech gaming keyboard G110. For me it is the perfect blend of the best features and the basic functions gamers are looking for. The only other keyboard that seemed up to par was the G19 but I personally didn't feel the need for a LCD display embedded in my keyboard and the bunch of extra features that usually just get in the way. The in keyboard sound card has worked great w/ vent. The only downside would be that my Logitech G500 mouse can't use the USB in the keyboard because it is not powered; I was really hoping this would be my central gaming hub. I also agree that the ~ key does not feel separate from the number keys, just took a little a couple days to get used to. The ergonomics are okay, there's a detachable rotating front wrist rest that is sloped nicely, this is a firm surface though and is considered hard on the wrists (pressure points) an ergo bead keyboard wrist rest worked nice.

Not too crazy about the G keys on the left side. It throws me off when typing on the keyboard. Other than that this keyboard is great. Feels nice to type on and the backlighting looks nice at night. It's helped me many a time to type with the lights off. Like I am right now.

I wanted a wired keyboard with a volume dial. I hate keyboards with volume +/- buttons and find this wheel operates very smoothly and is intuitively placed on the top right. There's some mixed messages on Amazon and elsewhere on what audio is being controlled when you scroll the volume wheel. From my experience, whether I plug in headphones into the 3.5mm audio port on the keyboard or not, the wheel controls my Windows 7 system volume, not any application volume like in itunes or wmp.
I found the feel of the keys very nice; not too rigid, not too soft. I appreciate the full-sized F-keys column since I press (Alt-)F4 and Escape alot. I initially kept hitting G1 instead of Escape since I'm use to just smacking the top left to get Escape and I'm not sure I'll ever get used to it after being brainwashed all my life. I don't play any game that would really make use of the G-keys, but I did map them to common folders and files that I use constantly. I wish the logitech software (LGCcore.exe) didn't use 24MB of RAM just for me to use the G-keys though. The LEDs are pretty neat. I keep it on blue to match the rest of my system, but as others have noted, Red is the brightest. The tab and caps lock aren't completely lit though. Those 2 keys require a slightly larger LED since they take up 3 rows of text, but Logitech just used the same LED for every key. There's a button to turn off the LEDs if that annoys you.
I was disappointed in the usb 2.0 port. The specs say low-powered or self-powered peripherals only since the keyboard iteself is only usb-powered, but I tried a usb to Iphone connection anyway just to check. I got a message saying power was exceeded. Expected. I tried a usb thumb drive next expecting that to work, but it didn't. Only my mouse was able to use the usb port.
The feet and the plastic palm rest are flimsy, poorly implemented, and seem like an after-thought. The palm rest does not fully snap into place. If you lift it, the palm rest will rotate down and I snapped the palm rest of out place a few times by lifting and setting it back on my desk.
I'm overall satisfied with the G110 as it feels good to type on and the volume wheel is easy to use which was my main concern.

Excellent keyboard, as usual with most Logitech products. I bought it mainly for the backlit keys for late night gaming and the audio/USB ports, which I use with the Logitech G330 headset. Two very convenient features and well worth the price. The keyboard at first felt a little cramped compared to my old one but I got used to the position of the keys within a few days. Also keys felt a bit mushy at first but all is well now. Takes a little time to get used to it. I really like all three default colors for the backlighting - red (my favorite), blue and purple. They are just bright enough to see and not too distracting, exactly what I was looking for. The volume control is another great feature, its a scroll wheel rather than the usual minus and plus keys. Ive only used the G keys on one game, Borderlands and they do seem to speed up routine keys I use most. Overall very happy with my purchase and recommended for all PC gamers.

Nice feel, custom blacklighting colors, each programmable key has up to three functions. The only thing I dislike is that it does not remember the active M-key (which of the three custom key sets you are using)between reboots. I have not used the built-in microphone and headset jacks. Has held up to lots of use!
