In 2009, we purchased a Dell Mini 9 refurb for my 2 sons, who had become increasingly interested in what Mom and Dad did on the computer all the time. Great investment - don't regret it. However, after an update,the wireless card mysteriously stopped working with any consistency. After much debate and many articles on Linux drivers, I came across some recommendations of this wireless card as a replacement. SHAZAM! The Dell Mini 9 now works like a charm. Definitely worth the investment.

When it arrived I installed it on my HP G60-445DX. First installed to drivers for the device, then the hardware. Rebooted and my laptop would not boot with the device installed. It does not work. I tried to contact the seller and have yet to recieve a response. So much for the 30day return policy. I will not purchase anything else from them.

I put it into my Dell M630 in 10 minutes the only tricky part was connecting the antenna leads.
It has worked much better than the USB wireless adapter I had before.

Card was combersome to link to network. WiFi drops out frequently and is lucky to run at 62 to 90 Mbps. At best right next to the router it may achieve 170Mbps. G card was more reliable and consistant! Shipping took a week from Illinois.

Replaced my Atheros based unit in my netbook with this and added a bar in signal strength.Good upgrade. Seems to run a little hot, though.
