Got this stick mainly for fighter combat sims, and in that function it excels! The build in rudder controls (twisting the stick on axis) is very handy...and with so many buttons all conveniently placed at the top of the hat you can map all your controls. No suction cups of any sort on the base, instead, the stick is base heavy ensuring that it will be secure throughout use.

when i got it it it worked without a problem then about 3 days later the whole thing basicly shut down and some of the time it works fine. i have no clue if its the product or the company

This joystick was a replacement for a Atk3 which quit after 6 years. The 3D Pro has features that make it much more enjoyable to fly a flight simulator. Swell product, easy to use and install.

When my Microsoft Sidewinder finally gave out, I needed to find a replacement for my Battlezone (I/II/TRO) and Flight Sim X PC addiction, since that make/model joystick was no longer available. The Logitech looked similar, and had the same basic functions - even tho I didn't like the button under the thumb grip ... but it started to input a slight right turn (X-axis) on its own after a week or two. I tried setting a dead zone but that didn't work, and I resorted to decreasing axis sensitivity within the game. I thought that was lame, but then it completely locked into a full left turn, which made it totally worthless! I tried unplugging/rebooting, but it was shot, after using it for only about 3 weeks.

I love this joystick. It's definitely a step up from my Logitech Attack 3. This one has more buttons and the twist feature. The programming software that came with it is the best. You can push one button and have a customized sequence of actions occur in the games you're playing. I couldn't really get used to the twist feature, so I just simply disabled it because I play combat simulators, not steady flight simulators -- no biggie. This joystick is simple to use with the software and I'd recommend it to anyone; plus, it's not expensive. If this one breaks or malfunctions on me in the coming years, I'll be purchasing another one for sure.
